Cory M. Erdmann is a founding member of Erdmann & Stumbo, PLLC, and focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death cases. This includes representing clients who have been injured in automobile accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, by dram shops (alcohol sellers), as a result of product defects, or who have been the victims of medical negligence, nursing home neglect or abuse, or hospital negligence or abuse.
Cory is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law (J.D. 2002) and the University of Virginia (B.A. 1999) and has been admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association and Florida Bar Association. He holds active licenses in both states. Cory is further licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
As recognition of his accomplishments in the practice of law, Cory has been elected as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
In addition to the countless hours Cory dedicates to his clients, he spends many hours working to benefit his community and local bar associations. Cory has served on the Board of Directors of the Fayette County Bar Association, the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Justice Association, and is a past President of the Madison County Bar Association. Cory has published and lectured on a number of topics pertaining to personal injury and medical negligence litigation and taught Litigation Skills at the University of Kentucky College of Law.
Outside of his practice, Cory serves as Head Coach for the Eastern Kentucky University Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country teams. During his time as Head Coach, the Colonels have captured six (6) Ohio Valley Conference Championships, and recorded a 16th place finish in the 2018 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
Cory and his wife, Faith, reside in Richmond and have two children.
