Brooks Stumbo is a founding member of Erdmann & Stumbo, PLLC. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Centre College in 2002 and a law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2006. He is licensed to practice in all state courts within the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. He is a member of the Madison County Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the Kentucky Justice Association.
Following law school, Brooks served as law clerk to Honorable Jean Chenault Logue and Honorable Jeffrey M. Walson. Since entering private practice in 2008, Brooks has represented numerous clients injured by automobile collisions, tractor-trailer collisions, medical malpractice, and dram shops (alcohol sellers), resulting in the recovery of millions of dollars for his clients.
Brooks has coached local mock trial teams and volunteers with Richmond Little League. He also serves on the Board of the Madison County, Kentucky Community Fund. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and golf.
Brooks married his wife, Julie, in 2004 and the couple have lived in Richmond since 2006. They have two children, Will and Saylor.
